Update on air conditioning:

Newest estimate states that the project will need another $600k to complete air conditioning renovation.

The Renew Rebuild Campaign provided $450k to St. Teresa’s. Those funds have fixed the roof, parts of the gym, paid for surveys, some planning and funds to con ed.

$200k remains that will be used in stages- 1st we will bring electric power into building. Fundraising for the gym air conditioning $100k, then wiring for $100k.

Next phase would be the school air conditioning.

We will apply for grants as well as traditional fundraising activities.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped to make the 2016 St. Teresa Christmas Fair a huge success! I think we achieved our goal to make the fair more about the children while still raising funds for the school.  I am excited to let you know the preliminary numbers are in and the fair raised a little over $22,500!

Congratulations to the winner of our Winter Windowland Contest – The Duffy Family – who decorated the Disney Character Window.  Thank you also to all the participants – with your help the gym really was transformed to a Christmas Wonderland!

15317976_1196385977063688_5223993015411908002_nThis year’s Fair would not have been a success without your help – whether you volunteered to work at the fair, donated to the fair, helped us at our craft/build it nights, baked some delicious treats for us to sell or simply attended – I truly thank all of you.  The HSA is  working on a complete list of all the volunteers/contributors and will email/post a complete thank you list on the HSA Website/Facebook next week.  Again, thank you all so very much.15391096_1196386147063671_7229476994012932903_n

There are some people who went above and beyond that I would like to make a special mention of – not only did they volunteer/donate – they spent weeks helping with crafts, building games, wrapping prizes, stuffing straws, getting donations and gave above and beyond to this fair to make it what it was –

The Eisenhardt Family, The LoPorto Family, The Bilotti Family, The Hutchinson Family, The Duffy Family, The Gofas Family, The Angelopoulos Family, The DePeppo Family, The Mattarelliano Family, The Bock Family, James & Mary Lyons, Theresa & Lincoln Hession, and The Mascolo Family.

15285007_1196385980397021_1992775727583648848_nThank you to Monsignor Belford and the Holy Name Society for allowing us to share the spectacular tree lighting event with the Christmas Fair.  Saturdayevening was extra special because of this and really brought the love of family and friends together in this blessed season.

I look forward to working together with everyone in 2017 to continue to have fun events like this for our St. Teresa Families to enjoy and spend time together with each other.

Here’s to the Merriest of Christmases and a Happy and Healthy 2017!

Brian Lyons
